The Gandhi Memorial Center introduces you to Caroline Livaditis who participated in the American University Washington Semester Summer Internship Program. For the past two months Caroline supported the work and the mission of the Gandhi Memorial Center in providing educational resources for the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative and the Girl Scouts of the National Capital Area. She pursued research to help add bios and quotes to the database of “Gandhi’s Associates” for our website, she created original artwork for a children’s “Gandhi Activity Book,” the cover art for the new podcast series: “Speaking of Gandhi,” and joined discussions around upcoming creative projects of the Gandhi Center with artists in the US and India. The Gandhi Memorial Center looks forward to engaging more volunteer students interns in the coming months and years ahead whether remotely or in person. Caroline was able to participate in all the projects, meetings and discussions remotely from her home in Vermont. For more information about volunteer internship opportunities, a pdf is available with more details.
