Online Art Workshop: ISLAMIC PATTERNS

Islamic patterns are made with complex geometry leading to a kaleidoscope of infinite designs. The Gandhi Memorial Center in collaboration with Iteeha brings you this online Islamic pattern two-day art workshop. This is the first in a series that in future weeks and months ahead may include Calligraphy, Silk Painting, Pattachitra, Madhubani Art, Shibori, Kalamkari, Gond, Warli and others. Explore your creativity and learn about a diverse cultural heritage with these workshops about the richness and details of Folk Arts & Crafts. You get to create your very own masterpiece! The workshops are conducted by talented artisans who work closely with you to offer tips & tricks, as well as share their stories. The classes will be conducted over Zoom.
