October 3, 2020 - 10am to 1pm online zoom art workshop presented by the Gandhi Memorial Center and Iteeha. Gond paintings are known for their rich detail, bright colours, embedded mystery, and a taste of humour. These paintings are found on walls, windows and even floors of the Gond Community because it is a common belief in the Gond community that a good image can earn good luck. Today the Gond Artists use modern materials and methods brilliantly to represent contemporary scenes and concerns on canvas and paper while keeping true to age-old traditions and style.
